Worst App Ever

Totally pointless, don't buy it

Not bad

Straightforward app for airport location, runway information and airport frequencies. I am a private pilot and fly with the Garmin which has all of this info and more, but was looking for something that could be used as a backup upon failure or reference when i was away from my computer (where I would use airnav.com). For $.99 this is an ok use for this app. Would have rated it higher if it had more info for the airports, like hours of operation, tower/no-tower, services (fuel, etc.), and other things you can get from airnav.com. that would make it a lot more useful. Also, this data will need to be refreshed to stay current. Would be good to know when that will happen.

Good, could be great

As an avid "virtual pilot", I'd like to see some filters on this app. For example, I don't need to know about heliports if I'm flying a fixed wing aircraft. I'd like to be able to filter out the heliports, in that instance. There are so many "landing sites" that it takes a long time to find the available airports that you can actually use. Also, it would be helpful to have a couple of other things: locate an airport by it's ID. "KJAX" for example for Jacksonville In'tl Airport...there is nowhere to type in an identifier. That would be nice. Then, once you find that airport, ILS freqs for the various runways would be terrific. It's a nice app, worth 99 cents, but it could be so much better. The filter to remove things like helipads, dirt fields and private runways, to me, would be the most valuable.
